The Higham Family: Thanksgiving in Utah!

We were so excited to take a trip out to Utah for Thanksgiving... Adam and I had both been missing it a lot. We decided to book flights out of Little Rock to save a little money, but we unfortunately missed our flights due to some serious construction delays on the interstate. Yes, we sat there for 3 hours while our plane came and went. So we had to buy brand new tickets, but we made somehow made it to Utah! It was such a fun week. We are so grateful to Becky and Tom for letting us take over their little apartment for a week. We were able to see lots of Adam's family and then Sam and her fiance Ryan came down for a few days from Idaho. Oh and friends! We were able to visit with all of our friends that still live in Provo.
Sam and I were able to get all of the things she will need for the temple and a few things for the wedding. Adam went snowboarding one day with a few of the Higham's. Thanksgiving was so fun and delicious thanks to Grandma Higham! Then we went out for a little black Friday shopping with Jim and Christi. We were bummed we couldn't bring back more things in our suitcase! Friday evening we went to a cousins party for all of Adam's family, but unfortunately everyone started coming down with the stomach flu, including myself. So we spent the rest of the night inside trying to keep Peyton from getting sick before we got on a plane. Luckily, she was fine :) SO glad we were able to make the trip though, we needed it!
